Beauty layout designed for Dusty Attic Chipboard

Good Morning Dusty Fans and welcome to my last blog post for 2019. Can you believe it is nearly Christmas? I don't know where this year has gone. Today I am sharing a layout created based on this month's stunning mood board and used lots of 49 and Market goodies as well as several gorgeous Dusty Attic Chipboard pieces, I particularly love that chandelier and frame.

I mainly picked the purple and aqua colours from the mood board with a touch of brown or in my case gold by simply adding some opal magic - violet to all my chosen chipboard pieces. When you add it to plain chipboard it really brings out the gold hues with a touch of violet, depending on the light. Once painted I set all my chipboard pieces aside to start working on my design by choosing my background paper and flowers, all of course from 49 and Market. I played around with my design for a while, sometimes this take longer then a while but this layout came together fairly quick. I added some white gesso to some of the flowers to soften the colours a bit and finished it by adding some artstones.

Freeze Frame layout designed for The Dusty Attic Chipboard

A very good morning Dusty Fans and welcome back to the blog, hope your day is going well. Below I would like to share with you another layout using loads of yummy Dusty Attic Chipboard pieces as well as my favourite 49 and Market papers and flowers.

'Freeze Frame'

I used several different Dusty Attic Chipboard elements but treated them all the same by covering them in some metallic silver paint to keep it uniform. I love how they all blend in perfectly amongst the gorgeous 49 and Market elements. I simply added the swirly flourish in between all my layers of flowers and laser cuts. I feel the metallic silver gives it a touch of elegance. Next I randomly picked some of my favourite chipboard pieces and played around with my design until I found the look I was happy with. Stars are always a big favourite, they go with any style or theme. To finish my design I picked some left over pieces from other projects like the border and the Word Tag, love these so much, they are simply adorable and cute.

Loving you is easy layout created for 49 and Market

Good morning and welcome back to the blog 49 and Market fans!
Today I would like to share with you a bright and happy layout using the ever so stunning Serendipitous Mini Collection. I believe this has to be my all-time favourite 49 and Market collection. Do yourself a favour and grab this collection if you haven’t already because you won’t regret it, simply gorgeous!

For my background paper, I chose the Serendipitous “Hazy Morning” paper and placed my photo on top of the cluster design printed on the paper, this made it look like I had put more layers. Next I grabbed my matching Laser Cut Sheet full of gorgeous pre-cut leaves and flower images amongst some other pretty designs and started layering them around my photo to add depth and dimension to the design already printed on the background paper.

I extended the design work a little to the left of my photo and added a cluster of embellishments for design appeal. For that finishing touch I added the gorgeous Pixie Petals in Sunshine to add a pop of colour and a sentiment stamp. Another quick and easy layout which I absolutely adore.

Love this layout created for 49 and Market

Hi there 49 and Market fans, it is Hetty here with you today, welcome back to the blog!
I have to start by saying that Janene the boss lady has really outdone herself with these stunning Mini Collections. The art work on these papers are so so beautiful and detailed. It is hard to pick a favourite but if I have to I would say the Serendipitous Mini Collection is my absolute favourite. I mean, have a look at those papers! If you haven’t got this collection yet I can highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

So for my background I used the “Rainstorm” paper, I just worked with all the gorgeous details on the paper to start my design. Once I picked my photo, I started adding the beautiful new flowers, the Enchanted Petals. How gorgeous is that Twilight colour?

To finish the layout I added the matching Layered Embellishments as well as the matching Laser Cuts and tucked them amongst my flowers and my title is Dusty Attic Chipboard. That was it, easy peasy.

The Ultimate Photo layout created for 49 and Market

Hi there friends, welcome once more to the 49 and Market blog, it is Hetty with you today. I have been playing some more with the Vintage Remnants papers and Laser Cuts. I had a few laser cuts left over and just wanted to use them up so they don’t get lost. I found this photo of this elderly gentleman and just loved the character showing in his face and thought it a great match for the papers I used.
"The Ultimate Photo" by Hetty Hall

The design of the layout started with me layering some of the laser cuts to create a photo mat, of course I used lots of dimension. Next I used a die cut to cut some black cardstock and added it to my background for a little added texture. The background is so gorgeous to start with it doesn’t need much of anything added but love the pop of black.
Next I arranged the gorgeous flowers around my photo, added some burlap and twine. I keep this little basket of odds and ends and found a left over piece of archival board circle which I added as an after thought to the right of the photo and on top of that added my chipboard title which of course is from the Dusty Attic, painted in black gesso.
"The Ultimate Photo" by Hetty Hall
For the finishing touch I added the scissors and the little bird and that was me done.

Thanks heaps for dropping in, hope to see you again soon.
