Wish layout for 49 and Market

‘Wish’

Hey everyone and welcome to my blog!
Sharing a layout with you featuring the beautiful ‘Dandelion Fields’ Laser Cuts. I found these laser cuts to be very appropriate for my photo and all I had to do was just pop them from the cardstock as they are all pre-cut, too easy!
These are the 49 and Market products I used in this project:
– Botanical Blends – Snow
– Garden Seeds – Sandcastle
– Laser Cuts – Dandelion Fields
I added all the gorgeous ‘Botanical Blends’ flowers first, arranging them around my photo in layers.
Once I was happy with my placement I started adding the ‘Laser Cuts’, just poking them in between the flower layers.
How cool does that birdcage look, just love it!
The background paper is from the ‘Tattered Garden’ collection called ‘Tattered Playground’. I really felt no need to add any mixed media to my background as these papers already got so much gorgeous detail on them as do most 49 and Market papers.
I also used some of the background paper that comes with the ‘Laser Cuts’ which has all these gorgeous dandelion seeds on it.
To finish off I added some ‘Garden Seed’ flowers in ‘Sandcastle’ colour for some contrast.
So there you have it, hope you like today’s layout and I will be back with another share on the last day of this month.
Until next time…..

Adore layout and photo tutorial for 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi there and welcome to my blog!

'Adore'

Today I would like to share with you this layout using a number of awesome
 2Crafty Chipboard
I also included some progress photos, but first some close ups and product information.

2Crafty Chipboard Products:
Amelia Flower - Small
- Amelia Flower - Large
- Beaded Hanging Hearts
-Mini Word Set 2
- Decorative Rod Set

Papers, flowers and Laser Cuts are from 49 and Market.

As per usual I used lots of layers, I love the dimension it creates.

I used a really fun technique on the 'Amelia Flower' chippie which I will explain below.

Close up of the finished effect on the chipboard.

Below is a photo tutorial of how my page came together.

So I started off with adding some cheese cloth to my background paper and
gluing it down in random places scrunching it up as I went.

Next I added two coats of heavy white gesso to my chipboard,
drying it off with the heat gun.

Once dry I added three different opal magic colours in
random areas using the dry brush technique.

I then dried the paint with my heat gun which made it bubble
and melt to create this awesome texture.

Next I added both chipboard pieces to my layout on top of some layered photo matts.
The papers are layered with pieces of cardboard to create dimension.

I used some copper embossing powder on the 'Decorative Rod' and
white on the sentiment and 'Beaded hanging Heart'

Finishing it off by adding all my other elements like flowers
and laser cuts, some art stones and prills.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Until next time.....

Mintay - Celebrations

So this afternoon I made some time to go into my scrap room to have a play with the Mintay Papers I received a few days ago. These papers are soooooo gorgeous, so many lovely fussy cut elements, going back to my roots. Of course I also added some of my favourite 49 and Market flowers and 2Crafty Chipboard. I also ended up filming the progress of this layout, which is a first for me but will have to check it out and edit before putting it up on my blog. Fingers crossed it turned out ok

Thanks for dropping by!

Until next time....

Love this moment layout and photo tutorial for 49 and Market

Hi there crafty friends and welcome to another 49 and Market layout share!
‘Love this Moment’
I included some progress photos in this blog post which you will find when you scroll down but first some close up pics and product information.
49 and Market Products:
– Captured Adventures Paper Collection
– Blossom Blends – Cantaloupe
Garden Seeds – Sandcastle
Chipboard is from 2Crafty Chipboard!
A close up of some of those gorgeous ‘Blossom Blend’ flowers. The ‘Garden Seed Flowers’ complement them beautifully!
Here as you can see I used some of the ‘Captured Adventures’ Laser Cuts, so versatile, I love them!
This close up really shows up all those layers!
I finished the layout with some extra touches like flowersoft and artstones!
So the following photos will hopefully show you a little bit about the progress of this layout.
First up I added some white Gesso randomly to my flowers to give them more of a shabby look, dried them off and added some shimmery spray which is not really showing up in the photos.
So here I used some scrap pieces of paper as well as a couple of pieces from the ‘Laser Cuts’ to layer behind my photo. I add them with pieces of cardboard for dimension.
Here I have just added two black photo matts, again the top one is layered.
Next I added some cheese cloth for texture. I just added it in between all the layers.
I covered the funky looking 2Crafty Chipboard pieces in some olive embossing powder.
I glued my chipboard pieces onto my layout and started working on my composition.
Just playing around with the position of the gorgeous ‘Blossom Blend Flowers’.
Next I added the ‘Garden Seed flowers’ and tucked them amongst the ‘Blossom Blends’. To finish it of I added the 2Crafty Chipboard sentiment which I covered in black embossing powder, some Artstones, Prills and Flowersoft.
So there you have it, I hope you enjoyed my blog post today and hope to see you again soon.
Until next time…..

Remember Today layout for 49 and Market

'Remember Today'

Hi there 49 and Market Fans and welcome to the last day of July. Is it me or does the year just seem to be flying past? I say this every year but this year has gone particularly fast for me for some reason. Anyway today I have another layout to share with you using some of the awesome new ‘Stargazer’ flowers, I truly love these flowers, I find them very versatile.
49 and Market products used:
I added some Flowersoft ultra fine white to the flowers and the background to represent the snow in the photos.
I stamped the leave from the ‘Lock and Key stamp set’ onto some vellum, embossed and fussy cut. I just stuck them in between the layers of flowers and other embellishments.
It just added another bit of visual interest. I used some WOW seafoam white embossing powder.
All chipboard of course is from 2Crafty Chipboard! I embossed the frame and sentiment with WOW fools gold embossing powder.
The ‘Stargazers’ combined really well here with the ‘Garden Seeds’. I also added some gauze and art stones to the background. Last but not least I stamped a couple of butterflies from the ‘Lock and Key’ stamp set onto the background paper and embossed it with the seafoam white.
Thanks again for popping by, hope to see you next time!
Until then….

Hello handsome layout for 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi there 2Crafty fans and welcome to the very last blog post for July.
Today I would like to share with you this boy layout. I love the grunge look of the background papers and I used quite a bit of gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard on here.

On this close up you can see the 'Mini Branches' which I covered in some ultra fine sage Flower Soft. It didn't just give it some colour but also some texture.

I added some Tim Holtz distress ink as well as randomly some Tim Holtz distress embossing powder in Weathered Wood to the 'Swaying Branches', again to give it some colour to match the layout and to give it a bit of texture.

Both the '#Handsome' title and the 'Interlocking Grid Panel' were embossed with Nuvo Fine Detail Copper Blush embossing powder.

Here is another close up of those gorgeous leaves, they compliment each other so well.

Flowers are from 49 and Market.

How gorgeous are those little 'Steampunk Gears'? They as well as the 'Hello Circle' sentiment were embossed with Nuvo Fine Detail Jet Black embossing powder. They tuck in nicely between the flowers and add just that bit of grunge.

Papers are Until Dawn by 13@rts.

So there you have it. July is nearly finished so hope to see you again in August for some more 2Crafty Chipboard inspiration.
