Amazing layout for 49 and Market

Hi there 49 and market fans and welcome to my blog. I am really excited to share another layout with you.

‘Amazing’

I think and I am sure you would all agree that Janene designs the most amazing and stunning papers and I therefor don’t like to throw too much mixed media products on them but instead let the papers shine in their own right. I did however add some stamping to add some colour and to bring out the colours in the photo. I also often add cheescloth/muslin for texture but other then that keep it pretty simple.
Products Used:
– Vintage Artistry – Seeds of Love
– Jute Cording – Single Ply
– Burlap Net Ribbon
– Botanical Potpourri – Hazelnut
– Gabi’s Patterned Textures Stamp
Lots of extra texture was added with the burlap ribbon and jute cording. I love how the stamping brought out the colour in his pants.
All the gorgeous chipboard is of course from 2Crafty Chipboard, I painted them and added some wax to they would represent the boys glasses, hope I achieved that.
I also 3D’d the boy by fussy cutting a second photo and adding it on top of the original with foam tape, it kind of makes him pop out of the picture.
A small cluster of flowers and other embellishments in the top right corner gives the whole layout balance without covering up to much of the design on the paper.
Thanks heaps Janene for always designing the most gorgeous papers and if you have not had the pleasure of working with 49 and market papers yet you really should get some because not only are they beautifully designed they are so much thicker and sturdier then most papers on the market these days.
So there you have it, I hope I was able to inspire you and for you to get your craft on.
Thanks heaps for dropping in.
Until next time…..

Treasure layout and process video for 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi there 2Crafty fans and welcome back to my blog,
so happy you could join me.

'Treasure'

I used a 'Christmas Chipboard' piece on this non Christmas layout and I think it
fits in perfectly with the other gorgeous 2Crafty pieces as I added the same
colour to all the 'leave' chipboard pieces to keep a uniform palette.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Products Used:
- Leafy Christmas Frame 1
- Leaf Set 1
- Foliage Set 5
- Chicken Wire
- Mini Word Set 1

I also added some gold wax to all the pieces to make them
look more vibrant rather then one flat colour.

I added some copper ink to the 'Chicken Wire' chipboard piece as well as the sentiment,
I don't like to use too many different colours as I think it confuses and doesn't blend well.

I also added some gorgeous 49 and Market flowers and laser cuts.

A few prills were added for that finishing touch.

That is it again for now, thanks so much for popping in.

Until next time....

Cherish layout for 49 and Market

Hey there 49 and Market fans and welcome back again to my blog.

‘Cherish’

I created this layout mainly to use the laser cuts from the ‘Captured Adventures’ line to show that even though it is very much a travel theme you can still use them for other layouts.  I was very much inspired by and wanted to showcase this absolutely stunning photo I found on Pinterest.
Products used:
– Captured Adventures – Eclectic Pieces
Captured Adventures – Laser Cut Outs Bonus (reverse)
– Captured Adventures – Laser Cut Sheet
– Rusty Autumn – Blooming Autumn
– Vintage Shades Cluster – Cerise
Vintage Shades Potpourri – Cerise
I chose some laser cuts and layered them behind my photo using dimension by adding some foam tape.
I also fussy cut the images from the Blooming Autumn paper and tucked them underneath the striped paper.
This close up really shows the layers I created and in between those I added a few flowers.
I just noticed I must have snuck in a fussy cut piece from the Vintage Artistery collection as I keep a container with all my bits and bops from other projects and I often go through it to sort out pieces to use for whatever project I am working on at the time.
The sentiment is of course from 2Crafty Chipboard and I just added some gold embossing powder.
That is it again for now.
Until next time…..
