Blessed layout designed for Kaisercraft

Hello there Kaisercraft Fans, it is Hetty with you today. I am so excited to share my first Guest Design blog post with you today and what a great start it is as well as this collection is gorgeous.
– Antiquities, just love this colour combo –

Blessed

PRODUCTS USED:PAPERS: ANTIQUITIES Collection: P2746 Precious|P2740 One of a Kind|PP1067 Paper Pad| CT960 Collectables|CR207 Curios|CS352 Clear Stamps
KC PRODUCTS: CB153 Raw panels – Corrugated Cardboard|CD650 – White Smooth Cardstock
I tore some random pieces of paper from the paper pad and layered them behind my photo. I nearly always use dimensional tape or cardboard in between my layers, not only because I like the look of it but also because it gives me room to add other elements like the collectables. In this close up you can see the layers.
I used the matching stamp set to randomly stamp the script stamp with black ink so it looks like I added some texture.
My favourite Kaisercraft product has always been the Collectables but how gorgeous is this Curios butterfly? Love the Curios, gorgeous circles of glass with beautiful prints that add shine and dimension to your projects, definitely a close second for sure.
The Antiquities Collection is super gorgeous with those yellow flowers and the blue tones, yet is not too feminine so can be used for both boy and girl projects.
So there you have it, I hope you like my first project as a Guest Designer and that you are inspired to get out your Antiquities Collection and start creating.
Until next time….
Hugs

Treasure layout designed for 49 and Market

Hi there 49 and Market fans, welcome back to the blog where I would like to share with you this layout titled ‘Treasure’ using some of the gorgeous brand new 49 and Market flowers.

"Treasure" by Hetty Hall

As well as the new flowers, I have used the “Vintage Remnants” Laser Cuts. I layered some of these elements behind my photo to add height and dimension, separating each layer using some dimensional tape. This also creates ‘pockets’ so I was able to add a variety of my flowers in different heights to create more visual interest.

I didn’t add any mixed media to my background paper as the print is gorgeous as is and I didn’t want to cover any of it up. However I added the ‘mesh’ from the Laser Cuts to create some texture. The laser cuts make it so easy to put together a great looking layout and this design took no time at all.

Treasure - layout for 49 and Market

Hi there friends and thank you for letting me share another layout with you today.
I titled my layout ‘Treasure’ as I thought it suited the photo well and embossed it in gold. I generally don’t add anything to my background paper as I am a pretty ‘clean’ scrapper to start with but also because Janene’s designs are so gorgeous and detailed to start with I hate covering up all the beautiful elements already printed on the paper.

So I started by matting my photo and for this. I actually used the backing card from a flower packet and roughly tore it to just a bit larger than my photo. Behind this I layered a small piece of burlap for added dimension and texture and last but not least I used a postcard from the laser cut sheet and inked the edges, layered it slightly to the left of the photo.  I adhered all this to the layout on a piece of cardboard.

I like to create all these heights and layers as it gives me room to add my embellishments in layers as well.
I used the flower pattern on the paper as my guide to add my flowers and laser cuts. To finish off I added some orange Prills to really bring out all the colours and layered my title on top of the embellishments with a bit of hot glue.

So there you have it, another layout finished using the gorgeous Bold and Beautiful collection and I really didn’t add to many elements but I think it looks pretty effective anyway.
