Woo-Hoo - layout created for Kaisercraft

Hi there everyone and welcome to another blog post from me, Hetty here with you today. Birthdays are always a wonderful occasion to scrap and now it is even easier with the bright and bold new collection ‘Oh Happy Day’. Of course you could use it for any happy occasion, even just celebrating a fun filled day like I have done here, the options are endless.
PRODUCTS USED:
PAPERS: P2893 Fire Crackers | P2892 Time to Party | P2896 Wrapped Up |
SK822 Sticker Book | CT976 Collectables | CR 222 Curios |
This was such a fun and bright layout to make. Once I had chosen my photo I started working on my design. I always like to use photos that match the colour combination of the papers and embellishments I am working with. I cut a strip of paper from ‘Time to party’ folded it and used it diagonally behind my photo. I also ripped a piece from ‘Wrapped Up’ to add that touch of yellow and inserted it inside the previous piece I folded. Everything was adhered with dimensional tape. I then used a combination of collectables and images from the sticker book to create my design around my photo. I just concentrated on the fire cracker images with the exception of the balloons and gold sentiment. Love how happy and bright this layout turned out to be.

Beauty layout designed for Dusty Attic Chipboard

Good Morning Dusty Fans and welcome to my last blog post for 2019. Can you believe it is nearly Christmas? I don't know where this year has gone. Today I am sharing a layout created based on this month's stunning mood board and used lots of 49 and Market goodies as well as several gorgeous Dusty Attic Chipboard pieces, I particularly love that chandelier and frame.

I mainly picked the purple and aqua colours from the mood board with a touch of brown or in my case gold by simply adding some opal magic - violet to all my chosen chipboard pieces. When you add it to plain chipboard it really brings out the gold hues with a touch of violet, depending on the light. Once painted I set all my chipboard pieces aside to start working on my design by choosing my background paper and flowers, all of course from 49 and Market. I played around with my design for a while, sometimes this take longer then a while but this layout came together fairly quick. I added some white gesso to some of the flowers to soften the colours a bit and finished it by adding some artstones.

Be Kind - layout created for Kaisercraft

Good morning everyone, Hetty with you today. Welcome to the blog and thanks heaps for visiting. Today I am sharing a layout using Grand Bazaar, look at all those stunning colours, very warm and rich, just gorgeous!
PRODUCTS USED:
PAPERS: P2866 Folklore | P2868 Boho Paisley | P2870 Doorway
| P2872 Free Spirited | CR 221 Curios |

KC PRODUCTS: Corrugated Cardboard | Art Foam | Layered Rose Decorative Die |
Lots of fussy cutting on this layout, so much fun cutting out the Paisley images from the ‘Boho Paisley’ paper. I usually do all my fussy cutting while sitting and chatting with my family and or friends or even watching some tv, always trying to multi task lol. I used a lot of door images from the ‘Doorway’ paper to layer behind my photo and create a photo mat background, tucking some of them in among the layers of papers. All the fussy cut images were layered around my photo and design adhered with foam dots to create many layers and dimension. The flowers were cut from some blossom art foam with the layered rose die and arranged on top all the fussy cut images. A bit of corrugated cardboard and cheese clots was added behind my photo to create a bit more texture.

Adore layout created for 49 and Market

Good morning 49 and Market Fans. Welcome to my last blog post before Christmas. I seriously can’t believe we are nearing the end of another year. So without further ado, I would like to share with you this layout created with the wonderful and probably one of my very favourite mini collections – Ethereal!

“Adore”
The gorgeous designs and prints on these papers are worthy of framing just as they are, simply amazing. So I tried not to cover them up to much and just work with the design.
I started off by cutting out some of the postcard elements from the Easy to Cut Elements sheet, distressed the edges with scissors and ink and layered them behind my two photos. I used two of the same photos for impact, I think it makes a real statement.
Once I decided where to place them on my background paper I started working on my design. First I grabbed some elements from the Layered Embellishments sheet and added them around my photos on the left working with the design printed on the paper. Some of the embellishments were tucked underneath the photos as well as in between the postcard layers.

Next I added a few images from the Laser Cut Sheet tucking them amongst the layered embellishment. For that final touch I added the absolutely gorgeous Enchanted Petals flowers and a few more of the smaller designs from the layered embellishments.
There you have it, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends and I will be back the day after Christmas with another blog post.

Freeze Frame layout designed for The Dusty Attic Chipboard

A very good morning Dusty Fans and welcome back to the blog, hope your day is going well. Below I would like to share with you another layout using loads of yummy Dusty Attic Chipboard pieces as well as my favourite 49 and Market papers and flowers.

'Freeze Frame'

I used several different Dusty Attic Chipboard elements but treated them all the same by covering them in some metallic silver paint to keep it uniform. I love how they all blend in perfectly amongst the gorgeous 49 and Market elements. I simply added the swirly flourish in between all my layers of flowers and laser cuts. I feel the metallic silver gives it a touch of elegance. Next I randomly picked some of my favourite chipboard pieces and played around with my design until I found the look I was happy with. Stars are always a big favourite, they go with any style or theme. To finish my design I picked some left over pieces from other projects like the border and the Word Tag, love these so much, they are simply adorable and cute.
