Love layout for 2Crafty Chipboard

'Love'

Hey everyone and welcome to my blog and my first share for September.
I used a number of gorgeous chipboard pieces on this layout which are shown below.

- Squiggly Heart Cluster
- Leafy Twig Branches
- Mini Branches
- Grid Panel
- Mini words 2

A close up of the 'Squiggly Heart Cluster' such a gorgeous chippie, which I painted in some dusty pink with a paint dabber, it added a touch of colour to match the bit of colour in the photo.

Some distress embossing powder was added to the 'Leafy Twig Branches' and the 'Mini Branches' in different colours for visual interest and texture.

I layered the 'Grid Panel' amongst all the flowers and other embellishments. I think it creates more visual interest and  helps put the focal point on the photo.

The background paper is from 13@rts. I also added some pieces of corrugated cardboard, cheese cloth and lace for more texture.

Some tiny beads were added for the finishing touch.

So that is it for me for now.
Please pop back tomorrow for some more awesome '2Crafty Chipboard
inspiration from the rest of the team.

Until next time....

More than Words September Main Challenge

Hey everyone, I am back again and this time I decided to play along with the Main Challenge at More Than Words this month - Sunshine and Yellow.

I just love Sunshine Yellow and I knew I just had the perfect photo for this challenge. This picture just screams Sunshine, Joy and Happiness and creating this layout put a smile on my face, now I am really looking forward to Summer.

I used Papers and Flowers from my DT - 49 and Market and the Chipboard is from my DT
2Crafty Chipboard.

49 and Market Products:
- Sweet Reflections paper - Reminiscence
- Seaside Blooms - Cotton
- Stargazers - Lemon Drop
- Tropical Paradise Laser Cuts

2Crafty Chipboard Products:
- Amelia Flower - Small
- Summer Leaf Stems 2
- Mini Words 2
- Fine Word Set 2

I added some Sunshine Yellow spray to the background. I layered some lace and cheese cloth behind  my photo to create some softness.

Just love the colour in this photo - perfect for this challenge I think and the laser cuts added a quick and easy touch to my flowers.

I added some gold touches also by using gold glitter embossing powder on the chipboard, it added some sparkle to the yellow accents.

Really happy with how this came together, combining the yellow and gold with some touches of white brings a real softness to the layout, hope you like it as well!

Thanks for dropping in.

Until next time....

49 and Market and 2Crafty Chipboard share....

Hey everyone, thank for dropping in. This weekend was a very creative on for a change, so nice to be able to sit and create without feeling guilty. I ended up making 3 layouts for both my Design Teams, 49 and Market and 2Crafty Chipboard.

'Cherish Always'

49 and Market Products:

- Sand and Sea - Seacreatures
- Stargazers - Cashmere
- Captured Adventures Set 1 - Stamp
- Gabi's Circle Stitch - Stamp

2Crafty Chipboard Products:

- Heart Clumps
- Fine Word Set
- Mini word Set 1

I painted the 2Crafty Chipboard sentiment and Heart Clump pieces and added some clear embossing powder.

The 49 and Market circle stamps were heat embossed on the background paper.

More 49 and Market stamps were added to the background.

I also used some leaves from the 49 and Market Tropical Paradise Laser Cut Sheet to add in between the Stargazer flowers.

Some pieces of lace and cheese cloth were tucked in between and underneath all the layers.

A touch of colour on and around the flowers and some gold flakes finishes it off.

That is it for now, thanks for visiting. I will be back tomorrow with another layout.

Until then......

Delight layout for 49 and Market

‘Delight’

Hi there again and welcome to the very last day of the month.
Even though where I am from we are hitting towards Spring, I thought I would share an Autumn/Fall layout with you for all of you who are leaving Summer behind. I just love the gorgeous colours of Autumn and couldn’t resist designing this layout.
I used the following ’49 and Market’ products:
– Rusty Autumn Collection
– Vintage Shades – Cerise Cluster
– Vintage Shades Potpourri – Yellow
Rustic Collection – Burlap Trim
The ‘Vintage Shades’ flowers were a perfect match for this layout and I fussy cut some elements from the paper.
Of course I added lots of layers and cut up the ‘Burlap Trim’ so I could tuck it amongst all the gorgeous flowers for more texture.
My favourite 2Crafty Chipboard of course found a place on this layout, tucked behind the photo. I added some pewter embossing powder to add more of a rustic look and to compliment the background paper.
The 2Crafty chipboard sentiment was embossed in white powder. White is my go to colour for sentiments as it makes them stand out when you have a lot of colour going on.
I also ended up adding some little touches from Mother Nature – how gorgeous do those gum nut shells look amongst the pretty flowers.
For a finishing touch and a perfect fit, I added some Flowersoft in an Autumn colour which also created more texture.
Thanks again for stopping by and I hope to ‘see’ you again next month for some more ’49 and Market’ inspiration.
Until then….

Adore layout for 2Crafty Chipboard

'Adore'

Hi there and welcome to the 2Crafty Blog', Hetty with you today.

 2Crafty products used:
- Steampunk strips
- Steampunk Gears Medium
- Hashtag word set 1

Who says you Can't use flowers on a boy layout? I think these
gorgeous flowers from '49 and Market' are just perfect.

I teamed the flowers up with the 'Steampunk strips and gears'
which has given it a real masculine look.

I added pewter embossing powder to the 'Steampunk strips'
and black embossing powder to the 'Gears'.

I kept the sentiment pretty simple, added white Gesso and white embossing powder.

Some art stones finished it all off and added some extra texture.

That is it for this month, hope I was able to inspire you in some way.

Until next time....

Hugs
